secondary causality

In my gift-ontology, secondary causality names real creaturely agency and real causal processes within creation. Fire heats, minds reason, wills choose, and histories unfold. Secondary causes are not illusions. They are created powers that truly operate within their order. This is essential for preserving creaturely integrity and avoiding occasionalism. Secondary causality is also where much of term-side novelty unfolds. The created world has real feedback, development, and differentiation, but none of that becomes an intrinsic update in God. Secondary causality is therefore a central partner-concept to non-competitive causality.
